Is it possible for a woman to get pregnant after she's gone into menopause --- by intercourse or artificially?

I've heard that it's possible.

A post-menopausal woman may be able to carry a pregnancy, but not one created from her own eggs. Menopause means the egg supply has dwindled and that the egg quality is too low to ever become fertilized. But if a a post-menopausal woman goes through a course of hormome therapy, she may "trick" her body into being able to carry a donor embryo (through IVF) to term. This is how the older women who make it in the record books have done it.
Menopause is the females body of stop menstrating, and also stop releasing eggs, so no. There may be a way to undergo hormone therapy with an art. zygote placement, but even then that sounds unlikely. pret much after menopause, even before, say after 40s, fertility greatly decreases.
If it's not actually real menopause, but just what seems to be, it's possible she could still ovulate an egg(it only takes one). She would "think" she went through menopause because she didn't have a period for a long time, but only medical tests can confirm actual menopause. Also if she had a donor egg and was implanted w/ a fertilized egg, she could carry the baby to term. It was done with a 76 yr old woman in France.....as sick as it sounds.
Two of my mothers friends got pregnant while in menopause, and they had healthy babies. I guess it all depends on the individual. Good luck!!
You can get pregnat artifically. We had a girl that came in our office that I did an ultrasound on that had gone through menopause at age 29. She was absolutely devistated. However because she had had medical problems that has led to the menopause she had frozen eggs just incase and her and her husband now have twins 1 boy and 1 girl. I was happy to tell them that. They used IVF and becuase she still had the equipment she was able to carry the babies to term.
