I have had my menstral cycle for 2 full weeks. Is this the beginning of menopause?

In the beginning, I spotted a few days on and off. then got a full week menstral cycle but light. I had one day without it. then it started all over again and heavy. Its now 7 days since second one began. Is this a normal sign of menopause?

Irregular or increased periods is often a sign of peri-menopause. If the increased periods are really bothersome to you get them checked at the docs office. You can also ask your doc to check your hormone levels for you if you want to see if this is indeed the start of menopause.
