I am 21 years old and I have hot flashes and night sweats. Could this menopause? |
I worried that I might have to see a doctor. How young could you be before starting menopause? u know, it could be one of MANY things. Yes, it could b sleep apnia, thyroid, diabetes, hormone imbalance, depression, stress, etc. Or it could b menopause. I personally have pre-ovarian failue = early menopause. I am soon-to-be 30 ears old. I was having problems in high school. I thought I was getting ADD. I could not remember what I read. I WOULD EVEN QUESTION MYSELF ON STUFF LIKE - IS MY NAME SPELLED RIGHT !?! My period started to slowly disappear each month until it was gone. I finally went to the doctor. I started going through menop. since I was roughly 16 years old. I am STILL going through it. All you need is a simple blood test to check your hormone levels. No matter what it may be you need to see a doctor. Oh, an OB did not discover this problem. Your pap smears will come up normal all the time. Also, if u r having early onset of MP, u can go to fertility clinic / get your eggs harvested and u will still be able to have children :-) I will say a prayer for u. I pray it is something simple to resolve. Please make an appointment with Doctor. Generally, you need to be about 45-60 before menopause but I would see a doctor just to ease your own mind. There have been cases of menopause happening in younger women I had similar problems and it turned out to be sleepapnia. hormones are in balance and it is remedied by a supplement that cost about $35 dollars, which is cheaper than a doctors visit. Let's put it this way, when the diet is wrong medicine is of no use, when the diet is correct, medicine is of no need. Leave the drugs alone and get that non toxic supplement. called plus. |
