At what age does a woman experience menopause or premenopausal sysmtoms?

anywhere from 35 -55. depends on the individual. see yr dr. for testing...
It varies, but in general I believe most of us start feeling the effects of menapause in our mid-forties

The average age for menopause to occur is 51 years, but it can happen anytime between the ages of 40 and 58 years. If it occurs before age 40, it is called premature menopause.
Perimenopause can occur at 36, but it can occur earlier.

I am going through perimenopause now. I am 45 and started it in July 2006. I figure I'll have menopause at about 54.

Perimenopause lasts until menopause (when the periods stop).
