Has anyone ever tried any of these herbal remedies for menstrual problems?

I have had a lot of menstrual problems for the past 7 years. I have extreme pain and pms. I'm in my mid 20's and have been to trying things with my doctor but nothing seems to really help. Over the years I have taken several prescription drugs, mostly NSAIDS, and have decided to try another route. I have done some research and was wondering if anyone has had any luck with herbs to treat their periods. I have read about Raspberry Leaf tea, Feverfew, Vitex (chasteberry), and evening primrose oil. If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it.

i take a vitamin B6 tablet every day of my period daily i also drink strong chamomile tea or cranberry juice, if those fail i use buscopan which is an over the counter herbal pill for cramps/period pains. i also just read that a teaspoon of olive oil works too but am yet to try it. valerian also works but tastes absolutely horrible. good luck

ok this sounds really weird, but it works like magic for me. just swallow one teaspoon of pure olive oil, and have a glass of milk ready for after. (only thing that makes the taste disappear).
its not as bad as it you think, and it really works within half an hour.
its worth it in the end!!
