Can taking too much of a vitamin cause menstrual problems? |
I noticed that after taking a Women's One a Day multivitamin, I would start to get nausous 10-15 minutes after taking it. Even if I ate or took it before bed time. I also noticed that I went from having a regular period to not having on at all. Last period was December 18,2007 and it is now February 21,2008. I also noticed that I would have severe mood swings and cried a lot. I have since stopped taking them around the first week of this month and I have noticed a marked impovement. Is there a certain vitamin that could have caused these problems? I would really like to find some sort of vitamin supplement to take, as I may become pregnant in the near future(possibility right now!!:) and I want to take good care of myself. Is there a smaller dose I could take? Thank you for your help! Yes a multi-vitamin can do these things to you. I am actually surprised you lasted this long taking the vitamin. I would have lasted about 3 days. |
