Pre-Menstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD)?

Has anyone here been diagnosed with PMDD or know someone who has been? I think my sister has it - every month before she's due to get her period she gets very depressed and finds it hard to concentrate on schoolwork or get to sleep. I'm just wanting to hear other people's experiences with this disorder.

Yes, experienced irritability rage etc. Have you ever seen the commercial for it where the lady goes to the grocery store and is trying to get a cart that is stuck and is freaking out yanking on it etc. That was me! Also part of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Prozac really just made me numb with no feelings. Really seeing a classical homeopath has done the most for me. I used to have weeks of PMS/PMDD with my irregular cycles, but now only have a brief moment or 2 of irritability a few days before my cycle. Homeopathy is not covered by insurance, however if you're lucky enough to find a homeopathic school near you it is significantly cheaper to go through a school. You can also get books on it. Homeopathic remedies are available at Byerly's, Present Moments, and various websites (abchomeopathy.com, etc.) Hope this helps.
