Ladies, please...Having severe menstrual problems?

Ok, for 2 days I had very, very bad breast pain. It felt like there was a razor blade moving about in there and then trying to come out through my nipple. Last night my husband tricked me into going to Urgent Care for it. (said we were going to Wal-Mart, and ended up at the hospital) The doctor said that it is Fibrocystic Diese. Today, my breast has been very sore, and my period started, but it was a week early. I am having the worst cramps that I have ever had too. Is this all related? The doctor gave me Tylenol 3 with codine for pain and said I could take 2 Aleve 3 times a day. My pain is not going away with all that. Any other tips on how to deal with this?

Also, I have heard that this kind of thing can start happening a couple of years before menopause starts. I am only 30, but my mom went through menopause at 35, my grandma was 37. Is that kind of thing hereditary?

Thank you for any help!

I'm sorry but you should not be even trying to deal with this pain If you care about yourself half as much as your husband you should go to the nearest emergency asap and let them give you whatever takes the pain away I feel like you are the kind of person who is trying to deal with this pain in order not to be an inconvenience to anyone It is time to put your needs first and make the doctor do his job I'm sorry if this comes off as rude but there is no reason for you to suffer they have to have something that will work
you're lucky to have a husband who is so concerned for your health. He deserves to be woken up with bj's for many years to come.
Starting menopause can be hereditary.(when you start that is)
If the pain meds are not working maybe you should see you doc and have him/her take a look and get a second opinion and maybe some better meds. Also kudos for you hubby glad he took you to Urgent Care. Dealing with the pain before you go in you can try hot water bottles, heating pads, and some raspberry tea, those all work for me on bad painful period days.
I would definitely see my doctor tho sounds like you need some other kinds of meds and treatment.
Good luck.
Morgaine
thats horrible I would see your gyn to see if there is something eles causing the cramps just to be careful to make sure everything is alright I would recomend for you to go on the pill birthcontrol because it has helped me deal with the cramps and the cloting, its so much better now. I hope you feel better when you lay down maybe take a warm hot water bottle, also elevate your legs. I dont know what eles to tell you I hope you feel better I know its awful.
roflmao. He tricked you!!! hahaha.....yes it is hereditary. That is sooooo retarted! omg...that's funny. I'll remember this when my dad sayss were going to walmart. hahaha.
This does not sound like menopause. The breast soreness has been diagnosed with Fibrocystic disease but the period cramping is something else altogether. It sounds like endometriosis which a lot women get. It causes severe menstrual pain and heavy bleeding and eventually cysts and adhesion's which cause even more pain. See your doctor and let him know just how bad the pain is so they can test you for endometriosis. Also use a hot water bottle, it has helped me in the past.
