I started taking prevacid 2 months ago, and I haven't had my period since, has anyone else had this problem?
I was only on Prevacid for a short time frome (about 3 months), but I missed mine 2 out of the 3 months. I would call the doctor though and see what they have to say. You may also want to take a pregnancy test if there is any chance at all you may be missing it for that reason. In that case they may put you on another med in its place (rantidine is what they put me on while I was pregnant). Don't lose any sleep over it, but still call and have it checked out to put your mind at ease. Good luck and take care!
No, but why don't you call the pharmacist first and see if that is one of the contraindications and then, to relieve your mind, call your physician's office. The nurse can talk to the doctor and get back to you on this. It is totally possible that your meds could goof you up. Everyone's chemical makeup is unique and you could be "unique" witht his med too. Good luck, don't worry and just call them tomorrow so you won't worry, okay?
