this is not normal. go to a gynecologist. you might be experiencing a PCOS..
If it bothers you get a second opinion from a another doctor.
it is NOT normal to only have 1 cycle per year. go to another dr.
This is common for a lot of women. It may take a few years for your period to really regulate itself. Many doctors prescribe lower doses of birth control like Tri- Cyclen Lo or Ortho Evra to help control this. Depo Proverra is really successful too. Just check with your ob-gyn about this, and if they don't want to try it, seek a second opinion.
Many things can cause a woman not to have her period. Being too thin, too low hormone levels, thyroid problems. You should see your doctor as soon as you can. He may prescribe a low-dose hormone or some other kind of medication for you. There could be so many things going on, you won't know for sure until you see a doctor. Don't wait! If it's low hormones, you need to get it taken care of soon. If you have normal breast and pubic hair development for your age, meaning if you are developed about the same as your female friends, then you may not need any medication at all. Just, see your doctor soon!
Have you lost a lot of weight since you began menstruating? A significant drop in your body fat percentage can throw your cycles off. As long as you're not dangerously underweight and your doctor isn't concerned, they should re-establish.

But I'd still try to see a gynochologist to be sure.
Read all you can about clay! You must not take it when you have your menstrual period...it will help you!
