Friend problem w menstrual flow? |
i have a friend who doesn't have her menstruation yet even though she's already thirteen. everyone elsesays that she's a man. what should she do? She will have her menses when her body is ready to. Just leave her alone. She is not a man, she's not even a woman, yet, so how could she be a man? WOW, I was 19 when mine finally came and I am no man, I raised 9 children, so I couldn't be a man. LOL there is nothng to do she just has to wait her body just isnt ready yet sorry Personally, I would say your friend is lucky. (Not about being made fun of, but your period is nothing to enjoy). Every girl's body is different, and they all develop at a different rate. There are a lot of different factors, including her family history. My period didn't start until I was 15 (weeks before I was 16), and my mom's period didn't start until she was 17. I've also known girls who were 9. There's really no "average". Well, just tell her that it is normal because it is. Menstruation can begin between the ages of about 7-16. It all depends on the hormones in your body and how quickly your body matures. Just let her know not to worrry and just comfort her. First of all, why is she sharing that info with "everyone"? If she's concerned, she should ask a parent to take her to the doctor, though I'm pretty sure 13 is within the normal age range. Tell your friend not to worry. That is perfectly normal. If she does not get her period by the time she is 18 then she should see a doctor/ gynocolegist. OMG theree callin her a freakin man cus she hasent gotten her period at 13 for god sakes 16 is like the cut off for periods tell them its normal and her too |
