Menstrual problems...Is this normal? |
Okay, I have not had a period in over 6 months (i'm not pregnant) and now all of a sudden every now and then when I go to the bathroom it looks like I have started my period (I mean it is very heavy not just spotting) and the next time I go to the bathroom its nothing at all!! Its like I'm only having a period for an hour or so! Is this normal? Has this ever happened to any of you? Please leave your opinions! Normally, I don't answer a question unless I have the answer, but I have had problems in that department myself although not this one specifically. The other's are right, you need to see a doctor and if you don't have insurance or can't afford to, go immediately to the ER. If your period has not come in six months, you are running an extremely high risk of getting cervical cancer. As it was explained to me by my doctor, if your period is not under withdraw from some type of medication and it won't come on it's own accord, there is something wrong and without the release of the tissue, it can build up and almost rot to a certain extent in your body. Without the horomones present for pregnancy, you body will not know what to do with the excess tissue/fluids and it can become toxic. Just get to a doctor!! I would recommend seeing your doctor I do not know, i suggest that you go to your dr. Honestly i don't think it's normal. I think you should see a specialist (Not just an OB). Some women have wierd menstrual periods like this, but the only way to be save is to check with a specialist. Good Luck! you should see a doctor. it's normal to skip it or become extremely light but from personal experience NO it's not normal and I recommend you get to your Dr. ASAP as it could be something serious! When this happened to me my Dr gave me some medicine (the name slips my mind at the moment) to take for like 12 days and then after you stop taking it your period comes a few days later! I seriously think you should go to the dr. though...Good luck :) hi! my advice for you is to go to a doctor immediately (instead of asking people's opinion on the Internet. They don't know you nor do they have any idea about your problem.) I am sure you will do the best thing when it comes to your health, which is to see a specialist. Good luck! |
