I have a huge migraine and my dad keeps talking incredibly loud? |
he also continues to run a drill and my brother keeps talking loudly too. I can't really leave the room though because I'm using the desktop computer to study for 4 tests I have between today and friday. I'm about to start crying because my head hurts so horribly. what can I do to get rid of the noise? already taken pills don't have time to take a nap.. and tried that, he got louder and started laughing hysterically.. sometimes I am in a noisy situation like you speak of. If you absolutely can not leave the room and you have asked them to please quiet down....I have used some cotton balls and put them in my ears. But for a major headache, it's best to get rid of it first because if you try to study or even think about anything at all, you probably won't retain what you are reading. I suggest taking something for the migraine along with a little caffeine. Go into a dark and quiet room with a cool washcloth over your eyes. Lay there for a bit and breath deeply in through your nose and hold for the count of 3 then release the breath easily through your mouth. don't blow. Just say ahhhhh. do this breathing at least 10 times and really relax your whole body. I bet the headache will ease up a bit in a fairly short amount of time. ask them to quiet down a little or try taking a nap |
