I am having a migraine. Anyone have any all natural cures...I am pregnant so I am limited inm what I can take. I have had the same issues, but thank goodness it has passed for now. My doctor gave me Tylenol with codeine in it, however that did NOT help and made me very sick to my stomach!!! my mum told me that breating into a paper bag can help. dont know if it works but i guess you can only try. good luck Dampen a cloth and go lay down in a dark room. Place the cloth over your face and close your eyes. close the lights and refresh your mind lay back and close your eyes try vinegar soaked brown paper on your forehead (it's from the Jack & Jill nursery rhyme) - I've always wanted to try it but when I have a migraine I'm very scent - sensitive and would throw up from the vinegar smell! you can take paracetamol safely, 2 every 4-6 hours, i did during my pregnancy, it's completely safe. Oohh i feel your pain! I suggest drinking a glass of water, taking two panadol/tylenol and heading off to bed!.. I know its hard to fall asleep with a migraine so if you cant fall asleep, even just lay in bed with your eyes closed for a while (you might even fall asleep eventually). If your migraine gets unbearable you need to call your OB/GYN or Doctor. Did yo try tylenol? you should call your dr and ask what you can take. bath and body works makes a roll on headache relief stick. i get migraines too and not much helps other than going to sleep and limiting the light my eyes take in. i haven't tried since i've been pregnant but doing a head stand has helped my headaches in the past. i know it sounds crazy but it really did work, of course since you're pregnant you shouldn't do it without someone there to help you but if all else fails... I had horrible migraines the first 2 months of this pregnancy. Tylenol never works for me but I was told it's ok to take benadryl once in a while, which worked very well for them. I haven't used it in a few months, and baby is perfectly fine and healthy :) a warm shower always helps me what i do is that i let my husband massage my head with oil and it really works, and put like a cold cloth thats soaked in cole water and put it on your eyes and lye down in a dark room always work , and water lots of it go for a walk-it will take your mind off things---- being on here doesnt help your migrain either I find a cold pack on your forehead and a dark quiet room tends to help. I would suggest seeing your doctor however as pregnancy headaches can be a symptom of problems. |
