I'm sure that unresolved conflict can creep up any number of ways, particularly if there is some sort of trigger after you thought you had the problem solved.

Emotional baggage will always find a way to be more obvious and that means physical. Headaches, high blood pressure, back pain, stomach and bowel problems, even cancer and other diseases. When stressors are present in us, even if they are dormant, they still can work on us...they are usually just lying in wait for us to become vulnerable.

I would indeed seek some counseling for whatever issues brought you to depression. But this doesn't have to be your only route. Make sure you are practicing good healthy habits(sleep, exercise, hydration, nutrition) as well as being checked for allergies, have an eye exam, and if you think it's necessary, have a brain scan to rule out things like epilepsy, cancer, etc.

I saw that you had a couple of questions about migraines right now...sometimes migraines come from eating the wrong thing, or from cutting back on something in your diet (often caffeine). I saw that one of your questions was about the night shift...if you're not drinking coffee anymore because you switched to the night shift, then your body is going through caffeine withdrawal, which can cause migraines.

If you have a migraine right now, the best thing to do is quit looking at your computer for a while (I do that too when I have a migraine and I know it doesn't help, staring at the screen), take a couple of asprin and two benadryl with a can of soda, put an ice pack on your head, and lie down for a while.

hey there Eq Man
first i wanna say thanks for ur wonderfull answer to others. Good job.
i was reading medical paper online the other day about migranes and the Dr was saying that food can trigger migrane, like for example if ur body needs protien and u havent got enough of it, after u eat u may form a migrane. ouch man those migranes used to attack my head for hours with vomiting and eyes spinning, once i nearly passed out cold cos of an infection in my nose which lead to a migrane and sever vomiting.
take some mixed vitmain tablets, get a stable diet with all things vits, calcium, cals, iron etc and visit ur dr for a general health check up like blood pressure. I found out i had low blood pressure also but i thought i was diabetic cos i always wanted sugary n salt things.

Good day to u. All the best

Its unlikley. The migraines are far more likely to be caused by something completely different xxxx

Probably not. Though stressing about a reoccurrence might trigger it.
