Any ideas to help with migraines? |
I hate taking pills all the time? Any other ideas? i take a beta blocker every day plus topomax every day and still sometimes.. like today WHAM!! a killer headache!! Many more, pl see what suits you. It depends on the cause of your migraine. I have vascular headaches/migraines, I would get them everyday until started taking a beta blocker to stop the constricting of the blood vessels in my brain. if your migraines are caused by the same thing, you should talk to your doctor about a beta blocker. If they are hormone related, talk to an o.b./gyn, als some migraines are caused by allergies to certain things such as food, alcohol, pollen or even a wheat/ gluten allergy. good luck, they are miserable until you get a good diagnosis and treatment plan.....it took me going to a neurologist, my primary doctor couldn't figure it out I know for me, dark places, a caffinated drink and a warm (sometimes cold) facecloth on my forehead works wonders. Coenzyme Q10 is supposed to be good for the prevention of migraines. |
