Migraines and wisdom teeth.?

I have been getting horrible migraine's for about 2 years, and at my last appointment my doctor asked if I still had my wisdom teeth. I said, yes all 4. He then told me if I had them removed that my migraine's would go away. I went to the dentist and he said that they are fine for now but it's up to me if I want to get them out.
I don't ever want to have any kind of surgery unless it's necessary, so I'm wondering has anyone had their wisdom teeth removed who associated them with headaches/migraines and then suffered fewer ones afterwards?
Thank you!

Yes, I know what you are talking about. Depends on if you have your wisdom teeth out or if they are still under the gums. If they are under the gums then you will have to do day surgery. If not then he should be able to take them out with out any complications. Yes, you will have less headaches (migrans) after they are taken out. Good luck

I have migraines and have already had my wisdom teeth removed. Sister also has migraines and also had her wisdom teeth removed. Didnt do anything. Was this a regular doctor or a neurologist? Dont know if it will help in your case or not. We have both had every test in the book run and they still have no idea. Personally I think it is hormonal. Good luck!

Hi ive known some people whove had problems with their wisdom teeh and wanted them removed but were advised not to.
I think its risky going into anasthetic. I know someone who said her uncle or some member of her family died from an anasthetic operation, im not sure if it was to do with his wisdom teeth, but she was basically against her daughter getting an anasthetic operation to remove the wisdom teeth, coz she was too scared to be awake during the removal....

If u really want them removed, I personally don't see much harm in it.

But my advice to u would be to avoid clenching ur jaw, i read somewhere we can keep our teeth slightly apart to avoid getting headaches from chenched jaw. This seems to be whats causing the problem.

U can do this have ur mouth closed and ur teeth slightly apart, at first it might feel strange but u will gradually get used to it, It should help stop ur migrains, however if this doesnt help talk to ur doctor again.
