Hopefully this shud help u Robin ..

Cheers!!

robin,
i used to suffer from migraines all the time....till my doctor discovered that it was caused by my birth control pill!!

i was having an eostrogen overload and it was causing migraines.....as soon as the pill was swapped ive not had one since its amazing!!

are you on any kind of birth control??

try a hot water bottle where you have pain, and get to doctor and get antibiotic . sounds like you may have sinuse or ear infection,

weird, I get a lot of really bad headaches on my left side also and I reckon its from wind blowing in my ear, my hair even hurts when I move it...but I usually rest and take a pain killer, mersyndol is good, a relaxant...I'm in australia, so the drug might be different depending on where you are...other than that, go to a chiropractor...your neck might be pinching on a nerve...but lots of lying down and lie straight, so your neck muscles can relax...I get what is called painless migranes, but my vision goes funny and I don't feel well, bit sensitve to light etc...do the headaches coincide with your periods, may be hormonal... good luck...

it could be related to stress as well some times the nerves in your face become inflamed causing intense pain sometimes a hot water bottle will help if its a migrainee you will have to have the proper tablets to control it a migrain is a chemical imbalance in the brain the proper medication will put this right

I also get migraines and have been for 6 years and have been Attending my docter and have been on tablets but nothing has worked i have tried chiropractic Which was working for about half a year but then they were coming back. I have just stared attending acupuncture. Maybe some of the older treatments would work such as chiropractic,Acupuncture or indian head massage`s.

It's really difficult to say at this point what is really going on. You definitely need to see a specialist asap. If it starts to really get unbearable, I would go to the emergency room. In the meantime, check out this website for more information:
