What's the rare condition called when there is severe migraine that is treated by an injection in the leg? |
I used to live near someone who would get these attacks every once in a while, and some close relatives and neighbors would go over when she called, and they would give her a shot in the leg to stop it. She became very disorientated and was in excrutiating pain. Does anyone know what this condition is called? I know immitrex makes an injection, not sure if that is what you are talking about, it isn't for a rare condition, it just works fast and especially well for people who get migraines that come on fast, or are having no relief from other drugs. |
