Never get Migraines, is this one? Why is it lasting A WEEK? What can I do? |
Last Wednesday during The Incredible Hulk...I began to get a headache, I was thinking I was dehydrated so right after I drank 5 glasses of water (over a 3 hour period). But the pain grew instead of lessened. I began to be immobile and in severe pain, over the next two days I became cold feverish (but i think without an actual fever) and shakey. Sometimes when I would stand my vision would slowly fade for a second. It went away 80% saturday and returned sunday night, but Only the headache. Its Misery meds do almost nothing, i have a cooling gel pack on it now which does help some. I am of course trying 2 avoid screens and lights and noises, but u know. Migraines can last that long. wow.. that guy who mentioned the brain tumor really has no idea what hes talking about.. I suffer from severe migraines.. I get them like you do.. only kinda worse, numbness, and blindness in one eye and stuff.. it doest feel good.. your right.. maybe check in with your doctor.. lay in a dark room, with no lights or sound.. and try to go to sleep.. try having a CT scan, some blood work taken.. and stuff like that. Sure enough, somethings wrong, maybe a head cold... nothing serious.. dont take the tumor to heart. its wrong. This is not just a migraine if it is lasting more than one week. You need to go to an emergency room...#1 for pain relief and #2 to find out what is wrong. It could be serious. No migraine should last for a week. Please go to the emergency room. Please head to your closest ER. They can run tests to find out what is going on and give you something to relieve the pain. It could be any number of things and honestly a headache should not last that long unless there is an underlying cause. you need to go and see a doctor, this is not normal. Just go your local emergency room as soon as you can Well i've been getting migraines for 4 years now and i've never had one last for a whole week. Something else must be wrong. You need to see a doctor asap. well...have u tried takin ur temperature??? if u haven't u should cause u might just have a fever....or it could be a sinus headache from allergies..... go see a doctor... and get some morphine (heroin if you don't have health insurance).... really though see a doctor... you might have a brain toomer pl see what suits you. |
