So For the past couple days I've had really bad migraines on and off.? |
Im seventeen, and I asked my mom about it, she just said it's stress. But they randomly come on and off && Idk why? I thought maybe its cuz im used to having caffiene and I havent had as much as im used to lately, but im not sure? you may be having caffeine withdrawal. However, recent studies show that caffeine contributes to migraines overall, so you are better off without it. Try taking some aspirin... not tylenol or advil... aspirin. have you been diagnosed with migraines? if so, did they not give you any migraine medicine? the newer migraine drugs are really great, and not much in the way of side effects. I take Maxalt or Axert. I feel like I got my life back. You could definitely be affected by the caffiene. Your mom is right, stress can do that too. Another thought...I find that when I'm getting my period/anything with raging hormones =) my migraines kick up. It could very well be from caffeine withdrawal, but it's most likely just one migraine...they can last for several days at a time. pl see what suits you. |
