Is there anywhere on-line where i can buy the migraine treatment (zomig)?

or is there something else i can try,i take naramig,it works, but,iv to go to bed for at least 2 hours, and thats no use if im at work!iv suffered migraine for near 40 yr,and iv been regularly to see many, many doctors, but they have NO idea what im on about. I have about 8 attacks a month!

There are a number of issues here. I find it difficult to believe that doctors have not been able to help you with your migraines. At 8/month you are certainly eligible to try a migraine preventer. This is taken every day and the most effective is probably Sanomigran. Zomig is one of the may specific anti-migraine drugs that are available on prescription and would be much cheaper this way, especially if you do still end up needing 8/month. The base cost of 8 x 5mg tablets, WITHOUT the pharmacy's profit added on would be 拢35.

Zolmitriptan is used to treat the symptoms of migraine headache (severe throbbing headache that sometimes is experienced with other symptoms such as upset stomach and sensitivity to sound and light). Zolmitriptan is in a class of medications called selective serotonin (5-HT) receptor agonists. It works by reducing swelling of blood vessels around the brain and blocking the release of certain natural substances that cause pain, upset stomach, and other symptoms of migraine. Zolmitriptan does not prevent migraine attacks.
Migraine is a chronic, episodic primary headache. Symptoms typically last 4 to 72 h and may be severe. Pain is often but not always unilateral, throbbing, worse with exertion, and accompanied by autonomic symptoms (eg, nausea; sensitivity to light, sound, or odors). Fortification spectra and other transient focal neurologic deficits occur in a few patients, usually just before the headache. Diagnosis is clinical. Treatment is with serotonin 1B,1D receptor agonists, antiemetics, and analgesics. Preventive regimens include lifestyle modifications (eg, of sleeping habits or diet) and drugs (eg, 尾-blockers, amitriptyline, valproate, topiramate).
Please see the web pages for more details on Zolmitriptan (generic name) Zomig (brand name) and Migraine..
