Does anyone know how to get rid of migraine's?

I'm onl 13 and i get migraine's really often. They're really bad too, they put me in tears a lot of the time, does anyone know how to reduce them or make them go away?
Please help me.

Yes, pl see what suits you.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

k, this sounds wierd, but it works well for me.

right when you get the first signs of a migraine - the "aura" (some people see spots, or lines, or the vision goes blurry or dark, for me i get darkness above my left eye), take 2 asprin and drink a coca-cola. not diet, not flavored, not a zero, but a coke classic.

but this only works if you do not regularly drink caffeine. otherwise, try excedrin migraine, or get on a prescription medication for it. i've tried both depakote and topamax for migraine. the depakote made me gain weight like crazy, so i switched, but since i started topamax, i've been fine.

good luck!

Hi Frida,
it's usually quite rare to get migraines so early in life. Usually, they only appear after you leave home.

The problem is an emotional one. You have a "learned" conditioning, from your very early childhood, that your exuberance is not allowed. So, when you start feeling really great, you have an inbuilt reflex which almost completely suppresses your vivacity. This is what causes the nerve cramps.

Although I do know of a simple solution which, to date, has not failed, because of your age I am compelled to inform you only via your parents. If they would like to contact me, we can solve this problem together.

Blessed be

You have to take medication when it is bad. Physiotherapy may help to reduce the tension and releive the muscles. Consult a doctor because it could be something else.

Perhaps you need to reduce your sugar intake. See item 71 (of items 1-146) in http://www.rheumatic.org/sugar.htm .

If someone knew they would be millionaires. Lots of people would like to know.

Yeah, I'm 16 now and ever since I was 14 I started getting horrible migraines (related to a health problem I had).

Sad to say, but I consider myself well-practiced when it comes to dealing with them.

1) If you get auras before hand (visual disturbance, balance issues etc.) right away take some Advil. I take 2. I've tried using Tylenol extra-strength and even taking 2 of those did nothing for me. But everyone is different, so consult your doctor to see what you best option is.

2) Once I was stranded at school with one of the worst migraines of my life and I didn't have any meds on me (always carry something!). The secretary told me about pressure points. THANK goodness. Different for anyone, but completely worth it (I felt it actually make a significant difference in seconds).

-One is located in the fleshy part between your forefinger and thumb. Squeeze firmly. There is a sweet spot so experiment. The effect looses its power over time, so do it for short periods.

3) Sounds horrible..but I find that if I feel nauseous, throwing up is a sign that I'll feel better soon. Don't force it, just don't try to supress it.

4) SLEEP. Dark room, no sounds. Easier to handle the pain while you're sleeping.

5) IMPORTANT: Try to work out what your triggers might be. They are always a bit tricky, ranging from food (caffeine, cheese) to changes in pressure to stress. Make note to avoid them when possible.

I hope this helps! Migraines suck =/. Seriously, if you haven't, check it out with your doctor. I had migraines before my illness and now its just worse.
