If stiff shoulders and neck are causing Migraine what is the best remedy please?

hmmm sounds nice SM lol

Migranes are a killer alright - I get them frequently.

So, first you need to explore what is giving you the stiffness in your neck and shoulders.

Is it your posture? Are you stooping or not sitting correctly? Do you lie badly in bed? Do you have good pillows? Do you work at a desk or computer? These will all cause problems for you, and so the first thing to remedy the pain is to try and eleminate the cause.

Exercise is the key to helping with this. Try stretching your neck as often as you can, include your arms and shoulders in this too. Tension can often be released by a good stretch!

If you sit in the same place for a long period of time, take a short walk or just stand up and pace a little every 30 minutes or so. Being inactive in one area of your body creates aches and pains.

Also, if it becomes a regular problem, speak to your doctor about medicines that can help you. They are there to help.

ah no, migraines are the worst!!!!!!!!

lie in a dark, quiet room. maybe she could take a bath? Nurofen helps a lot.

I also found these capsules in the health store that are supposed to get you to sleep. they don't really work for me cos I have serious insomnia but I have to admit, I had a bad back the other night, took one of them and my muscles relaxed completely. quite surprising

it is called valerian complex (high potency) by Natures Balance.

also maybe she could use a hot water bottle for her neck and shoulders? might help soothe the pain.

good luck

In cases like this I suggest sex. Just sex. No back rubs just sex.
Oh did I mention sex.
