Facial numbness with migraines? |
I have migraines on occasion due to a hormone problem, early perimenopause. My question is has anyone here had facial numbness with migraines?I read on the internet that it can happen, but it is scary. It usually is the left side along my cheekbone and around my left eye-kind of a novacaine like feeling that goes away after the headache stops.Any one else ever have this, serious replies only. Thanks Febuary song-Thank you so much,I feel better hearing from another migraine sufferer that they have had this.GOD-bless!!!! Yes. I get the "classic migraine" (with blurry vision beforehand, only one half of my head hurts, pulsing headache, nausea) and I get one every two/three weeks. I frequently (but not always) experience numbness around my face, almost exactly the same places you mentioned but often it will also include my entire jaw. I have been the doctor for the migraines, and she said it was fairly normal. Still, if you're concerned, have a doctor check it out. :) pl see what suits you. |
