Possibly pregnant and having migraines? |
There is a chance that I am pregnant (I'm waiting for the blood test results to confirm it). I'm getting migraines, though. I got them frequently before I was pregnant, but now I'm not sure what to take to help it. The medicine I'm on for migraines is Imitrex. Is that safe to take while pregnant? If not, what is safe to take? Because I'm still waiting for my results, I haven't had my first pre-natal apt, so I haven't talked to the doctor about what I can and can't take while pregnant, so I'm just wondering if you can help me! Since you are waiting on a blood test, I'm assuming that you have been to a doctor. That means you have some form of insurance. Does your insurance have a nurse hotline? You could always call them, or your local 24 hour pharmacy and ask them. i am not sure about that med but even though you haven't had your appt yet you can still call their office and ask if it is safe to take. |
