Treatment For Migraine?

When should be the right time to go to the Doctor because of migraine? In the meantime, how can it be treated?

If your headaches, migraine or not, interfere with activities, don't respond to over-the-counter remedies or are associated with symptoms such as nausea, vomiting or visual changes, se a Doctor.

Among the over-the-counter medications, my choice is an anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen or naproxen sodium. These medications relieve the broadest range of headaches, and work early, late or in the middle of a headache.

Among the prescription drug options, the triptans, which work on serotonin receptors in the brain to stop the migraine process, are generally the most effective. If you get migraines
once a week or more, or if your medicines don't work consistently, consider preventive medication.

Ben YOG IS THE BEST TO PREVENT.
pl see what suits you.
If you are in cold country use all warm things.
Pl try cold water bath and observe if in hot country, if pain increases use warm.
If you have cough/cold body hot water bath will help.
Massage and exercise in front of morning sun is good thing, pl try.
Pl try simple acupressure given below for immediate relief.
If it fails you will have to go for Acupuncture.

There is hardly any medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache, Ear ache/ringing, Stomach ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES, Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes.
None of them can be treated with medicine.
Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.

Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, tension, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods, SMOKING and alcohole.

Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits like dates, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point (with round tipped pen/jimmy) 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead/eye pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.

It may disappear naturally too.

I have been suffering with migrainies for quite a long time.
After nothing else worked, including ER visits, I finally went to
see a Neurologist who put me on Lamictal, a drug that is normally used for seizures and is a mood stabilizer.
This is the only thing that has worked for me. It's prevention that works. But you have to take them everday of your life in order to keep the migraines at bay.
I also have tension headaches everyday, and my Neurologist gave me Desipramine to take at night before bed. This is helping like you woudn't believe. I am virtually headache free everyday and it feel great for the first time in my life ! Again, this is everyday therapy. I never forget to take them because I know what will happen if I don't.
Neurologists treat any type of headache when everything else fails. I really suggest you see one, at least for a consultation. There is no reason why you have to live with them and have them ruin your life.
Good Luck to ya !

TRY DRINKING APPLE CIDER VINEGAR...

To maximize the benefits of apple cider vinegar, a general dosage of one teaspoon is usually recommended stirred into a 6 or 8 oz. glass of water. Most people cannot drink even this level of dilution of apple cider vinegar and usually add a tablespoon of honey, preferably organic. This dosage can be repeated at each meal, but most find this difficult. Many people find it much more palatable to pour some over their favorite salad.
Vinegar helps:

* Clear your sinusitis Stop hair loss
* Remove toxins from your body Stop a leaky nose
* Prevent mild food poisoning Relieve your joint pains
* Rid your constipation Combat fungal and bacterial infections
* Prevent indigestion Lower your cholesterol
* Lower your blood pressure Prevent obesity, lose weight
* Lower incidents of weak bones Relieve arthritis

I am drinking it regularly, and all my joint pain gone......don't expect miracle to happen the next day, cure your body from inside and out...
go search " APPLE CIDER VINEGAR"
you will be very surprise of how effective it works wonder....

I once had one for 3 mths, before I had to go to the E.R., it was so bad. Try lying in a dark room, not too many over the counter drugs work. If it affects your life, you need to see a doctor, for some prescriptions for migraines.

Coenzyme Q10 is supposed to help.
