I stricken by migraine??what should i eat and do??

i dont want eat drugs

The exact cause of migraine remains unknown, the most widespread theory is that it is a disorder of the serotonergic control system. (A serotonergic, or serotonergic agent, is any chemical which functions to enhance the effects mediated by serotonin in the central nervous system).

Lay down in a Cool DARK place. try covering your eyes with a cool wash cloth to minimize as much light as you can & sleep. When you wake up if the migraine is still present, take 2 advil or tylenol (depending on what you feel your body responds the best to) and drink LOTS of water. Sleep some more. Do not eat anything until you have just a plain old headache. (eating will cause you to feel like you have the flu instead of just a migraine) If you find you are getting them frequently, you can go to your doctor and possibly be put on preventitive medication.

Foods sometimes can trigger migraines, but they are not the cause of it.
The cause is usually a problem in your upper neck vertabrae - usually left over there from an old injury or fall.
You need to see a good Chiropractor to get your cervical vertabral aligned and loosened. It will take several weeks, but it is the only thing that can work in the long run.

When you have a migraine ( not just a bad headache) your stomach actually stops digesting. That is why they inject migraine medication.

- Don't eat anything, you will just bring it up.
- Drink some water.
- Stay away from harsh light
- Lie down if you can

I normally go to sleep and wait for it to pass. In the morning I normally feel hungover.
Hope you feel better soon!

Migraines are known as sick headaches. They are vascular headaches where blood rushes into the head.
Just try 2 Extra Strength Tylenol
Put an ice pack on the back of your neck.
Try to lie down in a dark room & sleep
Sip some water if you are thirsty
Don't eat. it may make you nauseous
If you need to eat try Saltine crackers.

Feel better

sometimes caffeine helps - maybe drink a cup of coffee or some soda - too much caffeine will add to the migraine though

and if that doesnt work, try taking a nap - just closing your eyes for a bit usually helps - no tv, no music, just silence

Here's a good article on "home care" for severe headaches. My husband is a pharmacist and he always recommends caffiene because it causes the blood vessels to open up and let more blood through... to stop the pounding.

Go see a chiropractor. They can cure migraines. One cured mine!
