Migraines, but could be more?

Well, I have had migraines for about 4 weeks now, and sometimes it hurts more, then less. It's like in little waves. It mostly hurts in drawing class. It's weird lighting in there. I am also pretty sure that my eyes are light sensitive. I squint in overcast weather.

Also, I used to have glasses when I was a kid, but i stopped wearing them because I hated them, and I just kinda dealt with it. I always thought I could see fine, I am pretty sure I can now.

But also, I have been pretty upset for most of my life. I am not calling out for help or anything, but can't mental unwell-ness also cause physical pain? I wouldn't go as far as to say I am depressed. Mostly just because I can't stand the thought of getting help. I hate being helped. But I digress..

Should I go in to get m eyes checked? I mean it's not like my head's the only thing bothering me. I have chest pains, and I have trouble gripping things, but those are new, and I don't see what those have to do with my head. I don't know.

At this point I am just lost.. I guess. Should I go to the eye doctor?

Yes, you should go to the eye doctor. The eye strain could be causing or even aggrevating your headaches.

Try talking to your school counselor about how you feel, if you don't want to talk to your regular doctor. He/she may be able to help you out.

Chest pains, trouble gripping things, migraines...it sounds like you have a lot more to worry about than your eyes at the moment.

I think you need to be seen ASAP by a GP to look at those other symptoms first. Those could be serious issues going on.

The headaches could very well be tied to those symptoms and nothing to do with your eyes...

Good luck.

Well, at this point u should def get it checked out. this could b very seriouse and it could resault in hospital visits if it is major enough. go 2 a doctor or do some reaserch online but def get it fixed.
best of luck

Migraines can cause eye pain and blurred vision but eye problems seldom, if ever, cause migraine.

Since you have other problems like chest pain, depression and grip strength you should see your family doctor.

As a matter of fact i've been there!i lost my glasses about two months ago and had to continue my daily route work and school without them until i got a new pair .Which turned out horrible i not only got headaches,dizziness,vomiting,squinting,a... felt sick.the doctor said i was forcing my eyes to the maximum which i was.even after i got new glasses it took a while to adjust to the changes.therefore its normal to feel sick when your not using your glasses and you have sight problems.
