How do you know if you have a migraine?

I don't have a doctor so i dont know if i have one

cuz i have a headache sometimes only one side of my head

it's like a shock, the pain is very short i feel like i cant do nor think anything for like 0.1 second. it's like i was going to die or sth ..

i can't really explain tho.. it's not rly painful but weird..

and mostly i feel like my eyes are about to fall off too when it gets worse when im stressed out.

and the lights look weird look more darker.... do you guys have this problem too? or is it just me?

what is it if i have a health problem?

first of all, are you sure they're migraines and not tension headaches - around this time of year, between weather and barometric changes and school stress, having bad headaches are common. however, having one straight for two weeks might be a sign of a migraine. throbbing pain, especially on only one side of the head, sensitivity to light, noise, or smells, visual differences, fatigue, and feeling cold can point to a migraine as the problem.

check out what might be causing your headaches other than your genes: some foods, particularly salty foods, dairy, and artificial sweeteners can cause headaches. sleep differences (more or less than usual), skipping meals, and hormone changes because of menstruation can trigger pain as well.

migraine headaches can be genetic - you might want to talk to your doctor who can give you migraine-targeted medicine like imateix or long-term preventative medicines like beta blockers. you can also look into self-hypnosis, acupuncture, or chiropractic work.

for quick relief, start by calming down - take deep breaths and try to pay attention to your breath instead of the pain. I'd recommend lying down in a quiet dark room, particularly if your headaches are triggered by noises or bright lights. try giving yourself a neck/scalp massage around where the pain is and at the nape of your neck.

heat/cold packs can also be helpful - try them on your forehead or behind your neck.

there are tons of other quick relief ideas out there - my grandfather swore by soaking his feet in warm water; my uncle tried to get some light activity like taking a walk. try different things until you find what's right for you. good luck!
