What is a good way to cure a migraine?

My doctor refuses to believe I get migraines. What is something I can do to get rid of them they kill so much. I work with kids so i get a tension headache just about everyday. Any ideas?

I have tried tylenol, advil, aleve, excedrin, ib proffin, Motrin, bayer

The only thing that worked was when my friend gave my oxy that she had left over from a surgery. I wont be able to get any more of that so i dont know what to do.

You better go to a Neurologist.He or she can give you good medication for that migraine.Also in home you can try to rest in a dark room without noises,closing your eyes,and putting a humid cold towel in your forehead.i hope it help.Good luck to you.

Go to a different doctor...thats what I do when they dont believe what I say. Or I ask them to refer me to a specialist. If you think you have migraines, get a referral to a neurologist who can help you out more. Topamax is a really good migraine medication, but you have to get it prescribed.

if you are pretty sure tension brings them on, see a chiropractor - they
will give you relief right away, and your insurance should cover the visit.
