I have been told I have ocular migraines what is this and do I treat it?

Ocular migraines causes temporary vision loss or distortion in one eye, usually accompanied or followed by a headache. They are also called retinal or ophthalmic migraines. They are caused by a sudden tightening of blood vessels, which reduces blood flow to the eye. Most under 5 minutes. then vision usually returns to normal. These can be scary to people but are typically harmless. Most people recover fully. You can look it up on www.webmd.com/migraines/ocular Hope this helps you.
EDIT, I have to disagree with Tink, I'm sorry Tink but migraines are caused by vasodilation of the blood vessels. An ordinary headache is caused by constriction of blood vessels. And all of this occurs under the skull cap. My source is my neurologist.

ocular means eyes.,your getting headaches from your eyes,i really havent a clue as to how to treat this, but migraines are caused by blood vesels in the brain constricting the flow of blood to your brain.in your case its affecting your eyes.
