Is it normal to get pins and needles in hands, face and mouth with a migraine?

Is it normal to get pins and needles in hands, face and mouth with a migraine?

It can happen, but you need to see a doctor immediately.

Anytime you have a symptom you didn't have before, or your headache is worse than usual, can be a warning of something more serious.

If it is new to you, please see a doctor, better to be safe than sorry.

I wish you the best.

The simple answer is yes. not all people with migraines get those particular symptoms. I have migraines and don't have those but I have known people that do, Especially pins and needles around the mouth. It is normal. Those people who tell you differnt don't have migrains, just headaches. I see auras and loose the ability to make sentences. It's fun trying to communicate with people who think your making it up.

It's not normal. You should see your doctor for a referral to a neurologist to investigate this. There might be something else going on that you need to have checked out.

hey
