When to go the emergency room with a migraine?

i get regular migraines and take lortab for them, because everything else stopped working, and i've had this one all day, took a lortab and a nap, and its still here and it's extremely painful i just wanna go cut my head off, the lortab didnt work like it should have.
so idk.. i think i need to go to the emergency room to get this taken care of. but idk when the right time to go to the ER for a migraine would be??

Oh dear, I would have been there already. My migraine tonight is horrible. I Have the brightness on my computer turned down so much my husband told me it wasn't even turned on. If I were you I would go to the er now. Best of luck to you.

When you feel the way you do right now.
Just make sure someone takes you because the shot they give you will knock you right out.
My migraines are so severe I would not be able to look at this computer screen due to the bright light. Moving my fingers to hit the keys would be impossible.
