Do people die from multiple sclerosis?

Not usually,people with MS sometimes die due to complications resulting from MS.
There is a type of MS called Malignant Multiple Sclerosis, also known as Marburg Variant Multiple Sclerosis, it is a particularly aggressive form of the disease. Thankfully very rare, this highly aggressive form is defined by its swift and relentless decline to significant disability or even death, often within a few weeks or months after the onset of the initial attack, people with MS sometimes die due to complications resulting from MS.

Derek & RJ are 100% correct. You don't die FROM MS you die WITH MS. Everyone dies from something.

MS is not a fatal disease..Most of us live long and productive lives.We may have to make adjustments, but our life spans are about the same as those with out MS. People who's MS has progressed are more prone to pneumonia, which can lead to death.
