Can people with Multiple Sclerosis have breast implants? |
Has anyone been diagnosed with MS and then had a breast augmentation later? I'm not asking about breast implants causing MS. I'd just like to know if it's okay to get implants when a person is already diagnosed. I'm emberassed to ask my doctor and I haven't gone in for my consultation yet. I'm not an MD, but I'm a PhD who has worked in MS for 8 years. My opinion is: Yes, go ahead and get the implants. You'll be sore and swollen for up to a week and will probably want pain killers the first couple of days and an anti-inflammatory but this should have no negative impact on your MS. Good luck! OK, This is what I was told about elective surgery and MS. Yes you can have implants with MS, assuming that you don't have chronic progressive type. Don't be embarrassed I guarantee your doc has heard a million times worse. i have a friend who had ms that doesnt have issues anymore try going Gerson it might work for u |
