Why is that in places which embrace Western Civilization, and ergo Christianity, the people eat Pork? After all, in the other major religions of the world 鈥?Judaism, Buddhism, and Islam 鈥?the eating of Pork is strictly prohibited. In Hinduism a vegetarian diet is recommended but not enforced.

Pork links to disease and is bad for you. First of all , they dont have sweat glands, so all their filth and perspiration is absorbed into their flesh, and you can imagine how disgusting that is.

Secondly, in order to make up for the lack of a sweat gland, they wallow in mud all the time and can pick up a great many diseases along the way, and are not generally washed before being killed.

Thirdly, they contain all types of bacteria in their bodies that are harmful to human beings, so that unless one cooks it thoroughly and takes all manners of precautions, it will give you some bacteria or virus that is not good for you

Its funny how Trooper says "God" says eating pork is not bad for you when it says so in his own Bible
Deuteronomy 14:8 "The pig is also unclean; although it has a split hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses."

this is sooo unscientific, just because a virus may be linked to it, and just because its prevalent in western countries, doesnt mean that the sole cause is pork

to muslims: dont put the reasoning of your faith based practices on science, because science is changing, its in flux. you have divine reasons and that is sufficient, concentrate on other things.

like when you give zakaat or prayer- do it, not just because you have to, but do it to please Allah and to be better people!

Asians eat pork more than westerners do. Pork is an integral part of Chinese culture, and Chinese are among the healthiest people in the world despite their low living standards. Japanese eat a lot of pork too, and they have the world's highest life expectancy.

Only Jews and Muslims don't eat pork. Everyone else does.

Remember that many foods forbidden in Islam aren't even mentioned in the quran.

That is an urban myth that is being spread.

Anyway, God does not forbid the eating of pork!
