Anyone eles been getting multiple sclerosis symptoms?

hi im from longisland and it seems everyone lately has been either getting multiple sclerosis or getting it's symtoms and not yet diagnosed has anyone eles experienced this?

no i never said it was airborne but it could be in something and yes it is weired when about 4 people in a week tell u they got diagnosed that you know

Many symptoms that seem like MS can be due to other things.
There seems to be more people diagnosed with MS in recent years. I don't know if that is due to better diagnostic procedures, an increase in MS or both.

I have a Yahoo group on MS:

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/MSR...

Are you having MS symptoms yourself or is this simply an observation? MS symptoms do appear more often in times of stress but especially in the hot weather.

The cause of MS is unknown still, but there are more people from colder climates with MS.

There are other diseases that have similar symptoms to MS. Here is a list of some of them:
(In no way should this be considered a complete list.)

Lupus
Behcet's
Neurosarcoidosis
ADEM
Transverse Myelitis
Sjogren's Syndrome
Lyme
Brucellosis
Myasthenia Gravis
Fibromyalgia
HTLV1 and 2
Devics Disease
Celiac
B-12 deficiency
Thyroid
Syphilis
Vascular Disease
Connective Tissue Disease

I run a friendly, informative MS group on Yahoo called MSersLife (link below). We have lots of excellent MS information in our files and links. If you, or a loved one, is having MS symptoms I would welcome you to join us!

I have noticed lately I have had an increased number of new members on MSersLife so perhaps your observation is correct!
