How do find a woman a who does not mind I have multiple sclerosis, shy, and unable to work and to drive?

I also am 37 years old but I have my own apartment and my own money. I just want a female friend who is open to a possiblity of a relationship. I still can walk (cane) and still a deceit body and looks. Something short term since I know my body has about 2 years left before I am a complete vegetable.

you just have to go out and have fun, somebody will notice that you are living life to the fullest and want to be part of that life, there are lot's of good hearted people who want to see what is on the inside, just talk to people, be have a good sense of humour and she will find you. have faith, and best of luck.

I don't know where you live, but many areas have a van service for people, who can't drive. Report Abuse

How do you know that you will be a complete vegetable in 2 years?

To answer your question, then online dating might be the thing for you, that way you can meet a many women within a short time span, and the advantage with getting to know each other online first is that you can lay the cards on the table, be honest and upfront, and that the women can get to know you first, without having the cane to constantly bring up the MS.

Hi Chuck,

Dating can be a challenge, especially when you have a chronic illness, but more so for females.
Why do you think that you will be a vegetable in 2 years and what does that exactly mean?
I was diagnosed with MS over 25 years ago and I am not a vegetable. My Mom is 85 w/MS and neither is she. LOL. I walk with a cane some days.
If you attend any MS functions, the women out number the men at least 10 to 1. There are web sites for dating. Of course you have to be cautious. Like someone said, you can't be a hermit. You have to be in a position, where you will meet people.

I have a web site for MS and I invite you to join us.

Good luck.

You did not say if you are a hermit (staying in) or someone who loves to go out.Being sociable gives you more chances of finding someone. Do you go to nightclubs or bars? Some one is out there looking for you, go every where, be fun and funny. Never dwell on your illness and what the future will bring. Be open to women when they ask about you. Never give up and no, you are not open to pity. Stay strong.

i think you should on line date for a while , tell her about your condition then ask her how she fells about it you would no believe how many caring people are in he world she may show you a good time i am sorry about you but you have a propose

ps shy is always cute

you just have to be yourself and hope that someone will come along. you should not miss out on having a relationship because of your disease, and there are women out there who care more about who you are on the inside than how you look on the outside

That's a tough one. I'd say praying would help. What about a cure for multiple scerosis. Have you researched for alternative health cures. What you need to watch is the movie titled the secret
link to that
