Multiple sclerosis ..?

I have all the symptoms of MS, and I am so scared.
I'm only 16, is it possible that I might have it? I'm too scared to go to the doctor, what if I have it? I know i shouldn't self-diagnose ..
No rude comments please.

Yes, is is possible but highly improbable. The symptoms of MS mimic the symptoms of thirty other diseases and conditions. The most proficient and dedicated neurologists have a difficult time diagnosing it. The only way to find if you have MS is get an MRI to find the tell-tale lesions which appear from the damage done to the myelin that covers the nerves when a person has MS. In general people from the ages of 20 to 40 are the ones who get MS, and it is far more common in females than males. However, it is possible for someone older or younger to get it.

I have had MS for twenty years. Most of us who have it live relatively normal lives. We raise families, have careers and do the same things that everyone else does. You probably think that most people with MS are physically disabled which could not be further from the truth. You picture them in wheel chairs or sitting in a corner drooling which is a bunch of hogwash.

the worse thing you can do is to put your head in the sand by not going to the DR to find out exactly what you have. If you go and they find out you do not have MS you have stressed yourself out for no reason. The biggest fear is not knowing what you have. the next worse thing you can do is search the internet to diagnose yourself. call and make yourself an appointment.
you did not list any symptoms but in the end it does not matter because many ailments have similar symptoms. the only way to know is to and get some tests run and tell your DR your symptoms so he can put the pieces of the puzzle together

Go to the doctor for testing. Does anyone you are related to have MS, as this is a heireditary disease? My cousin has been diagnosed for a long time now and has been on medication and is living a normal life. I know the doc can let you know so you should not worry until the doc says to worry. Make an appointment asap and stop worrying. Good Luck.
