Is it safe to get a tattoo if i have multiple sclerosis?

Is it safe to get a tattoo if i have multiple sclerosis?

Yes! It's totally safe, in regards to being diagnosed with MS. And if it were to get infected, it wouldn't have an effect on your condition. Your body temperature would have to rise in order to experience an exacerbation (and it still isn't a guarantee), and if you get an infection THAT severe from a tattoo, MS will be the LAST thing you'll need to worry about!

I don't know forsure. Give the Dr. a call and see what they think.
NO!! Sheesh, man, your body is hypersensitive already. Now you want to inject poison under your skin with hundreds of little injections? You could wind up paralyzed and on a respirator in six months, fool.
Generally speaking, yes it is.

However as always, make sure you go to a reputable place for the tattoo, as you will want to ensure a nice sterile procedure.

It is fairly common for superficial infections of the skin to occur after a tattoo, and infections can sometimes trigger an MS relapse or worsen symptoms. So make sure you are careful with cleaning the area to prevent this happening.
