Anyone ever heard of a doctor using chemo to treat multiple therapy sclerosis.? |
A FRIEND OF MINE HAS MS AND IT IS PROGRESSING FASTER THAN DOCTOR THOUGHT, SO THEY WANTED TO START HER ON CHEMO TO SLOW IT DOWN. SHE ASKED ME IF I EVERY HEARD OF THAT AND I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF USING CHEMO EXCEPT IN CANCER PATIENTS. ANY ANSWERS APPRECIATED Some doctors do put MS patients on chemo. I dont know any specific things about chemo for MS but I do know that they do do it. I know a young woman with ms who lives in D.C. She has been under the care of numerous specialists for the past 5 years. Recently, it has been suggested that she begins chemo treatment in October. She has agreed and scheduled her therapy.
