M.D. that practices naturopathy/homeopathy/alterna鈥?medicine?

Hi I am trying to find a doctor and appreciate when a doctor is open minded and doesn't resort to writing a prescription for every little thing. I prefer a more natural approach to healthcare but paying out of pocket can be quite pricey. I know there are conventional doctors, M.D.'s that also practice alternative medicine and would like to know where I might be able to locate one near me. I live in South Florida so if anyone knows a website where I can find one or any information for me I would appreciate it greatly. SERIOUS ANSWERS ONLY. Thank you.

big puffy shoes, I am not sure if you meant that M.D.'s are ethical because they practice conventional medicine and those that do not scam, but that is rubbish IF that's what you meant. There are natural remedies that work just as good if not better than conventional meds without the side effects.

Aloha

We've got a fantastic nationwide network of the kind of MD you're looking for at

American Holistic Medical Association
www.holisticmedicine.org

I've been a member for years, & the members are really really fine docs, good people - many serve on medical school faculties, hospital committees, etc.

For homeopathy MD's - check out National Center of Homeopathy & American Board of Homeotherapeutics.

Many holistic MD's also work long distance, ie offer effective phone sessions/consults as well.

Hope this helps

I'm very lucky that my terminal illness, Lymphadenities was cured by an Indonesian doctor, a MD that apply alternative healing. He is specialized in aerospace medicine & apply Meridian Zone Therapy using Chronosonic Ultra Sound device & 75% of his medicine is herbal remedies, while the rest still using standard conventional medicine.

I can give information for Ganoderma ( Reishi ) said king of medicines, biological name of Red mushroom, useful in all health problems, very very good for health/ unhealthy people. It is available in capsule form.If you know more, let me inform.

Check your phone book.

But ethical doctors don't do both real medicine and sCAM.

Try looking at http://www.realage.com

Well_ck and Big Puffy Shoes are idiots of the same school obviously. Those guys will probably be sucking down antibiotics for their hang nails all the way to the grave!

Anyway, "conventional" medicine is one of the newest forms of medicine practiced in the world and feeds directly into and out of the pharmaceutical industry, so even though you can often get the best diagnoses, you should always consult someone who actually knows about healing before embarking on major treatment courses (unless they're immediately life threatening) so you can choose the best options for yourself (or a combo of both).

Try consulting the alumni practitioner search from Bastyr University which is a fully-accredited university and well-respected around the world for their naturopath programs:

Here is a page on the NIH site about choosing a good complimentary-medicine practitioner:
