Will the spondylosys be cured by following naturopathy?

My wife is suffering with spondylosys for the last 15 years. always she has the vburning sensation and heavyness in the eyes. she has no hypertension at all. Please suggest me whether naturopathy cures the spondylosis or reduce the effect?

There is no "cure" for spondylosis, unfortunately.

However, since the condition is frequently degenerative, there are some things that naturopathic medicine can do to help prevent further deterioration.

If your wife is experiencing neurologic symptoms as a result of a "pinched nerve" caused by the spondylosis, there are things that naturopathic medicine can do to aleviate her symptoms (to varying degrees) - acupuncture in particular comes to mind as beneficial for patients suffering nerve pain due to impingement. But it's by no means the only option.

The burning and heaviness in the eyes, as JayD mentioned, is not likely to be directly related to the spondylosis... interestingly, though, from the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, there's a potential correlation. The "urinary bladder" channel starts at the eye, running up over the head and then down the back, down the leg ultimately terminating at the corner of the pinkie toe.

I would say that if your wife has been receiving treatment for more than a few months with no progress (and her lack of progress has not been addressed) her doc should be reconsidering the treatment protocol. Or perhaps she should be reconsidering her doc!

And finally... NATUROPATHIC MEDICINE IS SCIENCE-BASED/EVIDENCE-BASED medicine. There is a wealth of evidence out there. It's unfortunate that some of the medical community remains uninformed on this issue, but I invite anyone who is interested to contact me via email. I would be delighted to help expand a few perspectives by providing quality scientific/clinical data, if asked! :)

if I understand the question your spouse has spondylosis and you believe that this is causing burning and heaviness in her eyes.
This does not compute. Spondylosis is a degenerative bony overgrowth involving the vertebral bodies of the spine. This can in no way be related to her ocular symptoms. Her burning and heaviness is most likely due to a seasonal allergy of some kind. Go to a doctor and check this all out. Allergies can be helped. Spondylosis can cause pain by pressing on spinal nerves and the pain can be alleviated with NSAIDS such as Ibuprofen. Naturopathy I don't understand but if it works for you, so be it.

Naturopathy does not help.

Unfortunately, there is not (that I know of) and evidence that naturopathic treatments can cure anything at all.

If she has had this condition for 15 years, likely nothing sort of a surgery will cure it.
