I want to go into naturopathy, to become a ND. Where can I study this in Canada? Specifically in Manitoba? |
I've always been into the "natural way" of living. I feel there are FAR too many chemicals these days. There's chemicals in the foods we eat, in the detergent we wash clothes and dishes with, in the soaps we bathe in, and in pretty much everything else. I truly believe a natural approach to most* medical conditions, is the way to go. If anyone knows of a school in Manitoba, or Calgary area, where I can become an ND, please let me know. Thank you! Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (BINM), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM), Toronto, Ontario, Canada The others in the states are... Bastyr University, Kenmore, Wash. National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), Portland, Ore. Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences (SCNM), Tempe, Ariz. University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine (UBCNM), Bridgeport. Conn. You need to Study Pharmacognosy...The study of plant and animals in relationship to pharmacy. You can pick up a MS in it or a PhD. at www.USP.edu and many other colleges in the US. But if you want the real deal go to India to study it. The acutal birthplace of the science. I only know of the Canadian College of Natural Medicine in Toronto telephone:1-866-241-2266. There are a couple more in TO and I know there is at least one in BC. Do you have a naturopath in Manitoba? If so ask where s/he went to college. |
