Health/Nutrition? |
How does this article "Obesity contributes to global warming" relate to health/nutrition? Well How does it not? Its right there in black and white. Obese people eat more food so the rate of consumption is like one person equals 3 or 4. I saw a documentary on one person that weighed 1000 pounds and what he ate per day was enough to make me sick if I just smelled it. I really disagree with this article. I know a lot of thin people who drive everywhere because of where they live...It's ridiculous to try to blame global warming on the increased "natural resources" the obese use. If they're so obese they probably don't eat a lot of produce so that argument is specious. Global warming will cause more disease and a shortage of food (nutrition) and more natural disasters that will make it harder to maintain good health. |
