What is the difference in feed, nutrition, and diet?

(definition wise)

or do diet and nutrition mean the same thing?

Diet - Food and drink regularly provided or consumed b: habitual nourishment c: the kind and amount of food prescribed for a person or animal for a special reason d: a regimen of eating and drinking sparingly so as to reduce one's weight.

Feed - To supply with something essential for growth, maintenance, or operation.

Nutrition - The process of nourishing or being nourished, especially the process by which a living organism assimilates food and uses it for growth and for replacement of tissues.
The science or study that deals with food and nourishment, especially in humans.
A source of nourishment; food.

OK, they are all very similar and speak to the same subject so if you are looking for the difference, I I guess you will have to be more specific with the question .

I think of a diet as what you eat and nutrition as what is in the food we eat (as in chemical makeup like vitamins, proteins, sugars and so on..) and feed, well that's something I do as a verb. I feed people, animals and myself.

Feed: Means to give food to... as in... "I FEED my cat Royal Canon"

Diet: The food and drinks that are regularly consumed. As in "My birds DIET consists on Cooked pasta, seed, vegetables, and fruit and water"

Nutrition: The consumption of food and how the body uses the food for growth, energy, and healing of damaged tissues. as in "My dog gets iron NUTRIENTS from meat"

Hope this helps you understand
