Is it better to eat several small meals a day so you never really feel hungry like some people say or is it better to wait until you're actually hungry and be a bit more conscious about what you eat and focus on portion control.. for example.. If I'm working at a desk job everyday i probably don't need a TON of energy coming from my food to get me through the day but i feel like plenty of people still eat like they're preparing for winter or something.. Generally eating smaller meals more frequently will be better for you. It keeps your body fueled throughout the day and can prevent binging. But this doesn't mean you have to eat when you are not hungry. A small snack of vegies or fruit is fine when you are just at a desk all day. Make sure to have a good breakie though. Consuming more calories earlier in the day is better to - it gives you more of a chance to work it off before you go to bed. ur metabolism is like a fire...........putting small logs every so often will keep it burning nice and hot, putting big loggs fewer time a day will cause the fire to burn slowly and may cause it to burn out. So do the same with ur meals..... |
