For nutrition fact label and ingredients experts....pita bread question?

here is a picture of the pita bread...in case you were wondering the block under the company name is the address i blocked out

http://i27.tinypic.com/2ewmssl.jpg

the ingredients and nutrition facts look a little fishy

i'll write it down cause it's blurry

serving size 1
calories....90
sodium....25mg
sugar...1g
protein.....2g
carbs....21g
fat....0g

ingredients: unbleached wheat flour, water, sugar, salt and yeast

it's wheat pita bread

It certainly does look fishy. Where are all the ingredients we have come to know and love in bread such as high fructose corn syrup, soybean oil, molasses, mono and diglycerides, exthoxylated mono and diglycerides, sodium stearoyl lactylate, calcium iodate, calcium dioxide, datem, calcium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, dicalcium phosphate, diammonium phosphate, calcium propionate.

Your bread is something your grandmother would recognize as bread.

The above ingredients are from a package of Wonder Bread - which qualifies as bread in name only.

Enjoy your bread, but do so without delay - it won't last (thankfully) as long as Wonder does.

You can check out nutritional information for any food product on the two websites listed below. Both are USA government websites chock full of information for healthy eating.
