Nutrition label help?

on the rice box it says for each 100g there are 290 calories
do they mean 100g of cooked rice or 100g of uncooked rice

noone eats it uncooked, so they mean cooked

Wow, I'm not sure why you've gotten such bad answers to this question! It's a legitimate question, kiddos.

I really hate when products like rice, noodles, etc., don't specify if the serving is cooked or raw since obviously that does impact how much is being measured. I'd suggest reading the cooking instructions since many times, it will end up explaining if the serving size is measured raw or cooked. For instance, I have some oatmeal with cooking instructions for one serving, which will show you how the nutritional label serving is measured. You could also call the manufacturer and ask. I've noticed that lots of times with pasta and rice, the serving size is measured dry but it's not always like that and since rice pretty much doubles in size when it's cooked, that can be a problem if you are measuring it dry instead of cooked.

You didn't specify what kind of rice (brown, white, long, short, plain or seasoned, etc.) so I can't really guess but you can check the calorie count of rice online, measured dry and cooked, to point you in the right direction. Rice does tend to have more calories than you would think, especially white rice. Consider trying bulgur -- it has a consistency/texture similar to rice and tastes similar to brown rice. But it has fewer calories and more protein, plus it's a whole grain unlike white rice.

I am sure you know this already but obviously that does not include whatever "extras" you put on your cooked rice (butter, salt, etc) unless you are making one of those bag-of-rice meals from Uncle Ben's or something. (And if you're making that -- they tend to be loaded in sodium. Watch out.)

i think cooked but thats probably not counting butter and stuff that you put on it.

roughly in the middle of or more than... seriously just eat the f*ckin sh*t, alright?
